🖥️ New Business Workstation Deployment
As part of the project, we supplied and deployed:
3 brand-new Lenovo business workstations
Dual monitor setups
Professional cable management
A custom high-performance workstation with premium dual OLED displays
Each workstation was configured, tested, and installed onsite to ensure staff could begin working immediately without delays.
The custom workstation was specifically built to suit the client’s performance requirements while maintaining a clean and professional desk setup.
🌐 Business Internet and Network Installation
To ensure reliable connectivity for the new warehouse, BITS Melbourne supplied and installed a dedicated business internet connection directly through our own services.
We then installed and configured:
A new business firewall
Managed network switches
Structured networking infrastructure
The primary network equipment was installed within the main communications rack in the main office building.
This created a secure and scalable foundation for the entire site.
📹 CCTV and Surveillance Integration
The warehouse also required complete CCTV connectivity across the business network.
We integrated the existing surveillance system into the new network environment, allowing staff to securely access camera feeds from:
Office workstations
Mobile phones
Remote devices
This gives the client greater visibility and security across the site while simplifying access to surveillance footage.
⚡ Fibre Connectivity Between Buildings
One of the more important components of the project involved connecting the main office building to the operations office located further out in the warehouse area.
Due to the significant distance between buildings, we installed fibre connectivity between the two locations to provide high-speed, reliable networking without performance limitations.
We deployed:
Fibre connectivity between buildings
A new 24-port managed PoE switch in the operations office
Additional switching infrastructure within the factory communications rack
This provides fast and stable connectivity across the entire site despite the large physical distance between offices.
📡 Complete Wireless Coverage
To ensure reliable wireless connectivity throughout the warehouse and office areas, we also installed wireless access points across the facility.
This provided:
Reliable WiFi coverage throughout the warehouse
Improved staff mobility
Stable wireless connectivity for business operations
The result is a seamless network experience across both office and operational areas.
